The MasterCash BIG GAME tonight. With LML & Davina McCall

However.......

Davina is sadly UNAVAILABLE, (wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii)  so instead, LML will have the uber-dubious pleasure of me as Co-Pilot. And that's her first bad-beat of the night.

Bit of a special Show tonight, as we plan - "plan" being the operative word, because this is all a bit hairy to set up - to have, for only the second time ever on Sky Poker Channel 865 -  some BIG GAME action.

"BIG GAME" is a cash game, £5 £10 Blinds, with a MINIMUM pull-up of £1,000. It will take place on the ingeniously named "BIG GAME 1" Table. With, respectively, BIG GAME 2, 3, 4 & even 5 as back up if & when "BIG GAME 1" fills up.  

We have spoken to a few players, & I won't give names right now, but there may well be a stonking line-up of Sky Poker nosebleed-level players tonight.   

We may well back up BIG GAME with some action from the MASTERCASH Tables, too.

There's more, too, with Live phone-Calls lined up with, we hope, GliterBabe, Sparcey, & maybe a few others.

"So, tell us how you feel, after losing that £4,300 pot?". 

And to round-off what we hope will be a cracking evening's Cash from the Sky Poker Tables, at 11pm, it's a whole one hour of "TOP OF THE POTS"!

And, as Billy Cotton used to say on the BBC Home Service, in the Billy Cotton Band Show, "thats yer lot".

    ooh, just remembered!

    Where ARE those "BIG GAME" Tables?

    Well, "BIG GAME 1" will appear in the Lobby at about 7.30pm. Once that gets 3 or more players, "BIG GAME 2" will spawn (ewwww), rinse repeat "BIG GAME 3" etc.

    So, keep an eye on the Poker Lobby Cash Game section.

    I just had a sneaky peek, & I notice some of the boyz are already limbering up around the various Cash Tables already.

    Have a good show you two. Sadly I'm going to have to decline my invite to 'Da Big Game' because I'm doing my hair, but good luck to the others who accept :)

    Do we want e-Mails?  Yessirree, I think we do!

    It'd be kinda neat to try to have e-Mails which discuss the BIG GAME play if possible.

    We'd kinda like to Televise these BIG GAME's as often as possible - so if you enjoy them, help us rev up tonight's show with a good selection of e-Mails.

    Most of the time i read your opening pre show post and think 'predictable but watchable' but on this occasion you have really made me sit up and want to watch the show, this is a fantastic idea, but please show loads of hands and less of the inane 'downtime filler' chat lol. As for Davina being unavailable, at least i won't have to turn the volume down, Break a leg!

    Hi Lisa Marie and Tony,

    I have a question for you. As someone who occasionally plays cash(at 5/10p), and only knows one or two players at that level. How does one have to change your game, or what do you need to do, in order to be successful, against players you know all the time(like these guys on the Big Game).

    I'm out tonight for a few bevvies, so i'm Sky+ing, but i know you will good tonight with your new specs(at least your trying to look intelligent hehe).   Oh and Lisa Marie will look her normally scrumptiously gorgeous self xxx.

    Why is it that some of these guys will sit and wait at tables when others are availible but they choose not to sit at those and play certain players?

    Sky poker then puts the 'Big game' on for them and all of a sudden they play each other.

    PS. Davina McCall is hosting the Poker Awards next month.

    watching these high stakes is fun!!

    lets hope they do this every week now................

    and maxally they are only playing each other as its on tv and for the bravado i guess???

    apparently one high stakes player will only ever play against the weak players usually :)

    LML - A "Googly" is when a right arm leg spinner* turns the ball from off (left) to leg (right) instead of from leg to off to a right handed batsman - it has nothing to do with coming around the wicket like Tikay said earlier - don't let him bluff you! 8- />

    *Or from leg to off if it is a left arm leg spinner. A left arm leg spinner is better known as a "Chinaman" in cricket.

    Great game so far guys.  Got a ton of respect for everyone who sits in that game.  Hopefully one day I'll get rolled enough to sit with you guys and not play scared.
