ok never played villian before, from what i had seen from this session he was v nitty. ive pretty much got the nuts, so when the villian calls turn, min raises river im 99% sure he has a Q. so what should my bet be here? do i bet for value pretty much guarantee a call? or do i shove and hope the villian isnt good enough to lay down trips here and get max value?

i'd probably shove or make it like 18.50, whichever one you think would work best.

i would shove, people hate folding after raising river, its easy for villain to talk himself into a call thinking you have worse.

Depends on how your play has been that session, if you've been uber aggro then go for a shove, if you've been playing very tight then make it like £21.

i was playing like my normal nitty self. cant believed he called ;-)

too be honest my image of a complete nutcase does help me alot of the time to get paid off when i hit a monster but in this example like i said i had never played the villian before (so he has no idea how aggro i can be) i hadn't been at the table long and from what i had seen from villian in this short time he looked v nitty (obviously not ) ...
