As I say the hand bugged me.

in my mind I was puting him on pretty much what he had, but I wasn't sure if a raise would actually get him off of a big ace, so is this play a bit stupid?

i kind of knew that he wouldn't let go of AK/AQ so is this a bad raise?

Also is it fine to flat the pre-raise? he'd raised maybe just over half of the times it'd folded round to him in the SB. Is it a 3-bet or fold or just call and play the hand in position?

how can you know he wouldn't let go of AQ thats a guuuut read. pre is iffy 3bet fold or flat are all options, the best one will depend on the villains tendencies.

Obviously I can't know he won't let go of AQ or AK. He just seemed the sort of player who would stick with that hand even if he had missed the flop and faced action, especially blind on blind.
