well you were behind when you made your decision, but would have won.......

either you made the right decision pre and 'missed out on winning the pot'

or you made the wrong decision preflop and got punished by a T coming out?

or its the right decision and stuff happens sometimes?

I was getting the price to play but had a reasonably good read on the players and new i was behind and would be gambling would rather do that with 67 78 or 89 suited than tens.

    price against what ranges?

the key is guessing what hands they would play this way, then work out if you have the odds to call with this hand.

How tight is the initial shover, how tight/loose is the flat caller?
