Forever...and ever...and ever!

Well, that's the obligatory film reference out of the way.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm back on PTP duties from 7 o'clock this evening.

I'll be playing Omaha cash and will be entering the Monday Night Deep Stack at 7.15pm.  (You'll notice there's a separate thread dedicated to the tournament - Mr Jenkins is doing a fine job of promoting this excellent weekly event.)

So, please join me at the tables.  Looking forward to welcoming a few PLO/PLO8 newcomers - just as we did last week.  It's a friendly, some would say jovial environment and the regulars are always happy to answer any questions you may have, however basic they may be.

I'll use this thread to keep you posted about my whereabouts and my progress in the DS.

    We've reached the first break in the Monday Night Deep Stack.

    I have 8,460.  Just over 100 bbs.  8th out of 35 players.

    But I tell you... this game ain't easy when you have Sharksbite at your table constantly three-betting and four-betting you!  Plus, minty11 built his stack up to 15k in the first level and has been bullying me ever since :(

    Meanwhile, I'm playing PLO so badly, it's laughable.  Seriously, I've been stacked so many times I've lost count.  So, come to Ickham - there's an ATM machine in seat 1!!!

    Second break in the Monday Night Deep Stack.  I'm down to 17bbs.  So, "re-shoving mode" has been engaged!

    Managed to win a bit back at the PLO table, but still stuck for about £40.

    Out of the Deep Stack in 23rd place.  The way I'm playing this evening, I'm not surprised!

    I'll get a second Omaha table going in a moment.  Probably PLO8.  Probably 5p/10p.

    Well, after a couple of winning weeks, I was due a losing session...

    Over the course of the last five-and-a-half hours, I've managed to give away more than £100 of Sky's money at the PLO and PLO8 tables :-O

    I could blame variance, but I'd be lying.  I played very badly this evening (under the influence of half a bottle of red wine) and made some terrible bets and calls.  I even managed to accidentally fold a winning hand - twice!

    In summary: must do better.  And I'll aim to do MUCH better when I return to the Sky Poker tables next Monday.
