    otherwise it's fine they called on a draw and got there.

    at least 5x BB is necessary here. By making it 3x you priced them in and unfortunately you only have yrself to blame that he got there.

    Indeed don't forget to add at least one more big blind to your raise for every pre-flop caller. :)
