    Hi Roy,

Yeah - that's the current plan.

So far, confirmerd are Orful Orford, Orpey, & a bunch of the Sky Poker Crew from Feltham, including Rosie & Harry Kirby ("Sky-Rosie" & "Sky Harry"), & Nicky Slater (graphics chappie).

I expect a goodly few of the Sky Poker/Luton regulars to be present, too - snatiramas, Bennydip, Claw75, Chompy IMO, Dingdell etc.

It starts at 8.30 I think - might be 8pm - but I strongly suggest you ARRIVE EARLY, as it sells out every week.

Nicky Slater has not played Live before, so to "settle her" down I've suggested we have a little one Table sit & go before the Tourney, so she can get the hang of Live play. You know, chip handling, acting in turn, etc. She is VERY nervous, & it's important she is able to enjoy the evening. She qualified for Primo last week, & Cashed - so she's no mug! So the idea is to meet up a bit early so Nicky can get some Live Poker Tuition.

Which just leaves one problem. I agreed to the date of Wednesday 19th a very long time ago, but Wednesday is now "tikay Deepstack" night on Sky Poker, & it'd seem pretty rude of me not to be playing the tikay Deepie, so I'm undecided how to resolve this.

    We shall see.

Just to add, and this is VERY important.

There is a Dress Code at Luton-G - nobody - NOBODY - can get in at Luton-G if they are wearing Trainers. Proper shoes ONLY. Those who arrive in Trainers will be refused entry.

And they don't allow drunken-ness at the Table, as it spoils it for everyone else, so best to keep just the right side of sober, failing which disqualification is a real possibility.

    Just so's you all know.

I think that evryone will understand if you miss this now and again. You cant commit to it forever!
I will be there and traffic permitting, will arrive around 7pm.
PS: good job you mentioned the trainers!

TK   !!!!!!  What are you suggesting ...Drunkenness Me ??

In my 'hay day' at the final table, not only was i known  to take a tipple or two but also have a  smoke
and blow it in the direction of some poor old 'biddy' who had just been given the clock for dithering !!
' cough splutter'.....   as if i would !!
Ahh the good old days  hehe

    Oh forgot..Yes i'm going !!

    Hopefully I will make this.

Tikay do you have any info on whether they are capping the field now?  Cos last time I played they had a few self deal tables which was very unfair to the paying customers who were allocated them....

Does Nicky Slater design the avatars?

By the way if I've ever wound anyone up at the table and they fancy picking an argument or a fight, look out for a muscle-bound fella wearing a Hannah Montana t-shirt going by the name of Dean. I'm ready...

Ok you've tempted me, here's to hoping that the table we combo-pwn will be the final table :)

No idea Scotty. I think it's wrong wrong wrong that sometimes there are a few Self-Deal Tables, & they know my views on that, but it's not for long, they break them first.

Now, should I stay at home & play the "tikay Deepie" or come to Luton?

    Decisions, decisions.....;)

I'm sure there's a spare laptop and wireless internet dongle at Sky towers that you can nick for the night.

Live tournie plus multi-table online like a lot of the guys do at DTD :)

    Lolz!

I'm afraid that privilege is exclusive to DTD.

Luton looks the choice, though I do feel bad about missing the tikay Sleepie.
