trying to improve my 4-carded game so can i have opinions please. This was a £1 DYM Omaha PL game and i was trying to price my opponent in all the way, if i realised he was as strong as a K high flush that would have been a little easier of coarse.

Opinions please.

trying to improve my 4-carded game

Shouldn't you just concentrate on the 2 card version for a bit ?

    lets look.

     Flop awful
     Turn awful
     River awful

Nuts are only temporary in omaha and very rarely hold up through the streets as so many draws are available. All betting should also be pot sized to price people high to chase their draws and increase the pot size as well. By slowplaying and only half pot betting all you achieved was to give yourself a chance of being outdrawn and also to minimise your winnings.

You had the nuts and your opoonent had second nuts and was willing to call all the way and you left him with chips behind. In a pot limit game the bet size available is dependant on the size of the pot and yet you did everything you could to keep it small whilst holding the nuts. This is a fundamental mistake that will come back to haunt you on so many hands so make sure you never do it again.
