Did I max this hand

Not any reads at this point not been on the table long and did not know any player, the villian in this hand did like to see flops from what I had seen.

Should I have checked the flop to check raise?
Did I get the max out of this hand?

My thinking was he would expect a continuation bet as I was the raiser, plus had only played a few hands which I took down without showing so he had no reads. As there was no picture card or A was hoping he would not believe me, alas his fold was instant so could not work out what he must have had.  67 78 89 he had draw small PP he had to like the flop and he was priced in to call with a lot of hands.

Your thoughts please on the play and his call?

Do you normally c-bet half the pot?

Bet more, 3/4 pot....£3.20 or something, don't change the size of ur c bet according to the strength of ur hand/draw.

    ul he missed.

Normally 3/4 as you say but this chap had not seen me c bet as far as I knew, I was in two minds as to 3/4 or not but the time bank goes faster when you have the nuts, was worried he smelt a rat.

Yeh I think making your bet sizes consistent, makes you harder to read.

Id be more inclined to make a play in position against a big c bet on this type of board, than a small one.

There's no need to think in these situations, lol, c bet 3/4 every time (every time u chose to c bet that is), and keep them guessing.
