Jack Worthing in The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. Parkside Players took it to Felixstowe Drama Festival and won five awards. Unfortunateley I was not cast in that production, I had to settle for building the set and doing the sound... Posted by Wilhelm
Sorry, it was actually Lady Bracknell to Jack Worthing.
Wouldn't mind seeing analysis of this hand... pretty sure I got away with minimum lost, but is there anything that could have been done better? Can't see him ever folding the flop, and I had a nasty suspicion when he checked the turn, which is why I slowed down a lot.
Regarding the strange bet amounts, theres 3 reasons really why I do it, I dunno about others....
1) - U can make a number/bet look bigger or smaller than it actually is...
2) Some people get realllllyyyyy confused and tilted by it,and its impossible for them to figure out my betting patterns as they can never remember what my last bet size was.
3) Most importantly, as you have to click the box, delete the amount, and type the amount in, this is harder than clicking a button instantly, and gives me time to make sure I a making the right move. Many times I have typed the number in, and by the time I have finished typing, have decided to make a different action!
Value betting is good if you can fold to a raise.... Oh yeah and a couple of people at Luton have given me the nickname 'Sky Poker'. I now mainly play live at the Vic now.... Posted by scotty77
haha
also doh you missed off that people seem incapable of doing maths or rounding numbers that are funny!
And if THATS not enough, & we have insufficient e-Mails, I'll tell you all about my visit to the National Railway Museum in York yesterday. Abs Fab stuff, I'm sure you'll agree. Posted by Tikay10
Tomorrow I am off for a trip on the Boness steam railway, then the Edinburgh Tattoo in the evening, followed by a cruise on Loch Katrine on Tuesday on the Sir Walter Scott.
