OK, folks I can now announce the details of a fun competition.  As the title of the thread suggests, it's a last longer contest for members of the Sky Poker community playing in next month's SPT Grand Final in Nottingham.

So, how do you enter?

Well, you need to "pwn" Hartigan at PLO!

I'll be at the low-stakes Omaha cash tables on Monday 23rd August, Monday 30th August and Monday 6th September.  One one of those three nights, you need to beat me in a hand of Omaha or Omaha Hi-Lo (IMPORTANT: the hand must be played to showdown on the river - and in Hi-Lo you must scoop the pot).  Honestly, it's not that difficult.

Once you've taken down the pot, post the full hand history in this thread - so everyone can see your skillz / revel in my incompetence. Then, your name will be placed on my list of 'Official SPT Grand Final Last Longer Contest' entrants.

The contestant who lasts longest (i.e. goes deepest) in the SPT Grand Final will win the grand prize.  Oh yes, the grand prize...


Free entry to Sky Poker's 8pm main event for a WEEK!


That's SEVEN tournament buy-ins - including free entry to Primo - courtesy of Sky Poker.

In addition, Hartigan will take out his wallet (a rare occurrence) and buy you a couple of beverages at DTD!

    thats sounds like fun, but what about a lastlonger on the day "ie" pay £10 (on the day)( give it to one of the sky poker team to hold so we know it will be there when the time comes to pay it out)  and put your name down, and the last one wins all the cash in the pot, if 50+ are in it, thats a nice £500 on the day. just thats what we do when i play live poker in london,

    most times it will get to the last 2 in the lastlonger and they 1/2 it.
