Villain had been raiseing/reraising almost every hand so I figured I was in front. I decided to shove knowing he might call with a range I was easily beating but happy to pick up the pot there. Seeing as it was early in the tournement should I maybe have taken less risk or was my play justified because I keep busting out in these situations.

Also is there any way to justify his call.

How about the guy who opened up the betting with the min raise?

You have to consider him when making ur play......

If u know the initial raiser will fold, and u can see the maniacs cards, then u want to shove and get it AIPF everytime!! right? ;)

Scrat welcome to the forum, this is just unlucky you played fine got called by a weak ace which you was a big fave. as most people on this forum would say dont be results orientated, i'd be happy everytime with jacks being called by a8

You've justified the play well enough for me so it looks fine.

In most circumstances jamming JJ after there has been a pre-flop 3-bet before you isn't the best way to play them but you've read the situation correctly so it's just ul.
