Tikay! I know this is an impertinent question but did you even look at the said thread before giving your judgement on the situation? If you did then I respect your judgment even though Imo I think you are wrong!
Ok folks I'm going to move it back into here in a moment. Given the bad vibes that have been circulating here recently I think it's a good idea, as it's a good fun thread.

I almost wished I never made my Post, now I definitely wish I'd never made it. I was worried people would not read it properly, & that has proven to be the case.
I never said it could not be a rare exception, I simply went to the time & trouble to explain the logic.
I never said (or thought) that a lot of people did or did not want it.
I never said (or thought) it was not harmless fun.
What I did explain was how Forums need to work, & be managed, if they are to be scaleable, to be able to survive traffic growth.
Now we have "mock" Posts appearing on other Threads.

I never made a "judgement" - I explained, carefully & honestly, as I always try to, on all subjects, the logic, & reasoning.
It was for others - the Mods - to make the "judgement", not me.
I had thought my reply & explanation may have been helpful, thats all.

Feel free - soon is "very soon".
They no longer give dates, as the mockers & sarcy brigade all get up a head of steam, but it's progressing nicely.
The DC was demonstrated on a Laptop to anyone who wished to see it during Swansea SPT, too. Since then, progress has been rapid. I was on it yesterday, actually, it's slick & neat, very much so.
But there are OTHER things to come before that. And very soon, too. Many players here have Beta-Tested some stuff recently, & the feedback was astonishingly positive. And there is some more "other stuff", too......
