i think you were unlucky here.

you bet out well imo but you were unlucky they had the open straight draw!!

the fact he called your 1500 bet screams of a drawing hand imo.

was this a freeroll as you will get called alot lighter too!!

id say keep betting big and make them pay for there draws.

    unlucky.

I agree it does appear you were unlucky with hindsight! Dont you think he should have slow down on river, 67 or set here maybe?

Was a £5.75 Bounty Hunter - should I have raised pre flop ? - everytime I do with pairs I seem to lose bundles

    They're tough to play....

Especially on boards like this where they look alot stronger than they actually are.

Although uve been unlucky with the guy getting there on the end, betting well over the size of the pot into the pre flop raiser here is abit krazy.

I have no idea how to play 77 on that flop! Absoluuuuuutely no clue, I probably end up check calling 1 time, and check folding the turn, which is just rubbish.

Id rather see A K Q than 2 4 5 lol. Thats equally as stupid, but it keeps the decisions simple.

I'd play it the same except I wouldn't over bet the flop.

I would of raised the bet to 525, and then perhaps barcode could not of called.
Feedback from all of you have commented appreciated, as I am learning as well.
