More Omaha shenanigans from 7pm - and more opportunities for you to qualify for the Official SPT Grand Final Last Longer Contest!  If you've no idea what I'm talking about, read THIS.

Following some useful feedback from Talon, I'm going to play a variety of table limits to allow as many players as possible the chance to prove their skillz.  So, here's the rough schedule for this evening...

19:00-19:30  2p/4p PLO
19:30-20:30  5p/10p PLO
20:30-21:30  10p/20p PLO

21:45-22:45  2p/4p PLO8
22:45-23:15  5p/10p PLO8

As usual, I'll use this thread to advise you of my whereabouts.  I'll always have at least one cash table open; usually two.

    THIS JUST IN...

Tikay's doing his thang at DTD this evening, so won't be able to participate in the 'Take on Tikay' event at 8.30pm.

So, for one week only (actually, it seems to happen EVERY week), the part of Tony Kendall will be played by James Hartigan.

It costs £2.20 to enter and is a really well-structured tournament. Hope to see you there!

I appreciate the invitation, but will decline.

I don't play HU on PTP nights, as I don't feel it's very inclusive!

After the SPT Grand Final (i.e. Monday 13th September), I've already promised Machka that I'll play a few Omaha MTTs and STTs.

Word of caution: Omaha is a highly volatile game with a LOT of variance ... and you may be expected to gamble! ;-)

    Hi James,

Won't be around until later on this evening - should be back in time for some PLO8 action though. This is a really dumb question, but having never posted a hand history on the forum, can someone tell me how you do it? Do you just copy and paste the history from the summary/chat?

    Thanks

As Greg said but there is also a thread on what to do here.

Something I do to check posts will come out correctly is go to Area 51 and just post on an existing thread there.  If it all looks ok then delete your post and then repost in the correct place. (don't post on a NEW thread since you can't delete it afterwards!)

    Two things...

    I'm at Ironbridge - 2p/4p PLO.

My wife has just opened a bottle of wine - and I don't play well under the influence!

OK, the Take on Tikay tournament is about to begin - with Hartigan standing in for Tikay!  Good luck, if you're taking part.

While I'm playing this event (which might not be long), I'll only have one Omaha table open.

Just sat down at Littlehampton - 10p/20p PLO.

We're on break in the Take on Tikay tournament.

I'm currently 43rd out of the 72 players remaining.  When we come back, I'll have exactly 37bbs.

I'm also taking a short break from Omaha.  But I'll let you know which PLO8 table I'm playing in about 10 mins time.
