I think I played this like an idiot, lol.. Only just joined the table so no reads.
Flop don't look that bad for me with 1 overcard.. And then he puts in a high flop bet.. Thought maybe he wanted me to fold with a high bet and was bluffing.. He had a shortish stack so I shoved.. Is this really really bad play? :)

    yes!!

i must of missed this hand!!!

shoving wasnt the best idea there as he was going to call you with a better hand there......

also like you say you hadnt been there long and the read i had on the other guy was that he bet out his made hands.

Yeah thought it was bad just wanted confirmation, lol.. Wouldn't have played it like that if he had a full buyin..
Thought maybe he was trying to bully me off the pot and I didn't expect him to be that stong.. But got it badly wrong!

I'm not sure its that bad. You had to raise on flop to see if it was c bet and as he only has £1.50 or so behind, you might as well go all in

Would you do this with 77 with a queen on the flop a pair of Q beats TT just as much?

This kind of bet at NL4 is nearly always strength. Unless you have notes on the player or have noticed he is particularly aggro or cbets regularly (not min bets like most players) then you should just fold and wait for a better spot.
