I wud pot control the turn. Give him a free card yeh but also get a bet from missed draws on the river.

How do people keep hitting 2 outers against u?

I have no idea, i wish i knew, id maybe be able to change it so i get the two outers against them.

Anyways DoHHHHH, why is dishing out a free card a good idea, now ive shown all the way through i think i have 55 well and trully beat, pre flop 3-bet with the strong continuation on the flop, am i not best to keep this going, and against a good opponent, they probably lay down the 5's?

I know i posted this for advice, i just struggle to see why giving out a free card on a paired board is such a good idea.

i wouldn't give a free card but i would raise more pre-flop especially at the low levels in tournaments like this donks will call a raise to 150 with 78 suited and garbage like that but apart from that just unlucky keep going.

I just dont suspect the 8. He never repped the 8, and is this not even more reason to bet the turn?

i cant believe your oppo called a 3/4 pot bet on the turn with fives (i mean, what do they think they are beating here??), then to hit their miracle 2 outer (know the feeling all too well) is just sick sick sick.

the only thing you can do is make your notes, and hope to face them next time.

Probably make it bigger preflop as early in tornies most donks will call off with any 2 so you want value, but rest of hand seems fine. Also amazing call on turn from villain lol.
