In a desperate, probably doomed attempt to get this thread back on track, here's a reminder of tonight's "Hot Topics"...

    1)  If you could have free entry into ANY major poker tournament in the world – other than the WSOP main event – which would you choose and why?  Would you want to play amongst the famous faces and best brains in the game?  Or would you prefer to travel to somewhere like France or Italy where the fields are notoriously softer?

    2)  As I’ve been touring the toy stores of south west London, searching for a Bagpuss soft toy (don’t ask!), I’d like to know about the weirdest and most random thing you’ve ever tried to track down – in the style of J.R.Hartley?

Can't we change the theme to films with trains in them?

    Runaway Train gets my vote.

Murder on the Orient Express wasn't bad either.

Or does anyone else have an different theme we could use for tonight's show?

    Hi James and Tk

I would love free entry into the Caribean event in the Bahamas James commentated on earlier this year, just to see Michelle Orpe in that bikini again would be the main driving force for this decision.

As for a JR Hartley moment it was trying to get a Lotso and a peas in the pod soft toy (from Toy Story 3) while in Florida last month, and is so far a work in progress....

"Do you have a Lotso? A peas in the pod?"

No sir, you could go anywhere in the US and not find any, as soon as stock arrives it is gone!!

Still looking.........appeal for me....anybody got one?

For me i would absolutely love to play in the Bay 101 Shooting Star leg of the WPT. An absolutely stunning setting and 50 big name players in the tournament have bounties placed on their heads worth $5000!!!!

Sun, sea and bounties, what a tournament!!

    Hey Guys

I would love to play the NBC Heads Up Championship.  Despite claims from other tournies this is the effective World Heads Up Championships and it would be great to jump into such a varied and tough field.  Plus I would make a twit of myself during the draw screaming 'Give me Durrrrr!!  I want Durrrrrrr!!!!!!'

FYP - you missed the link.

I'd like to enter the WSOP $25k Six-Handed No-Limit Championship.  Great prize pool, only a few hundred runners to get past and 6-handed.

I wouldn't mind playing the $250,000 Monte Carlo IPPA Championship, the largest buyin tournament ever, only 48 players and $5million for first.

    1.  I have to agree with Solarcarro on this one The Carribean event in the Bahamas looks superb..it has it all.

    2.  Whilst travelling in australia a few years back with my other half, we took a trip to a place called frazer island which is just off the east coast.  The island was a beautiful paradise to say the least.  Although there where no shops, cafes etc on this island it just had the bare bones.  Whilst travelling back to our camp site our 4x4 got stuck on the beach.....literally beached.  After two hours digging with a small trowel and the constant swatting of the irritating sand flies we eventually got pulled free with the help of 2 passing norweigans.  As can be expected my mood was not great with the events of that day, but once we got on our way again it was all laughs and jokes "we will look back and laugh" ...."Did you see the looks on the norweigens faces with me cursing in brash glasweigan" etc etc.  Oh how we laughed, then i looked down and realised i only had one flip flop!   My heart sank I then remembered that when we were digging i was constantly getting bit by sand flies and spat the dummy bigtime, throwing my flip flop as far as i could.  This happend on the saturday, the boat did not come back to pick us up till the monday.  There was no way i was going around for 2 days with one flip flop.  The next few hours of my evening involved drivng up and down a secluded beach searching fo it.r   So in answer to James question.  The weirdest thing i have found myself searching for, is my own **** flip flop on an island thousands of miles from home!

ps soz its so long didnt intend to write so much.
