I normally raise all of my hads 3x plus one for every limper.  How much would you raise here after a min raise and two calls?

    an overbet is whats needed here - nl4 players call sooooooo light so factor in the pot size and make your 3 bet pot & a half, making it a 45p 3bet. that should scare off any weak aces. and if you get beat by aces in this spot, then thats poker. reload.

    on these tables like the neons said they will call regardless i would stick over 4x the amount down personally and hope for 1 caller 60 to 75

    If a player has actually worked out how to raise at NL4 then you can raise as much as you want cus pretty much 99% they will NOT fold. In this instance 65p should do.

    Thanks all, I bet 72p which was enough for one to shove back on me with A9.  I know it worked at the time just wasn't convinced if it was about right for the future.

    I wouldnt have bet as much as 72p patchings. This is a personal opinion, my main problem with it is when im multitabling i cant do that bet, wont let me type the amount in via mini view lol.

    Anyways i think 48p would have been good enough to get the same reply from A9 at this level.

    Also did the ace of diamonds come on the river ive had a nightmare with that recently.

    You might be right Don.  The ace came on the river but got exactly what I wanted PF so no complaints.  Could do with some of these going my way as running out of buyins now, down 10 during august....  Think i'm losing money on the marginal hands more than anything, I just don't believe anyone has the goods!!!

    Im in progress of righting up a study for NL4 ill let you know when its finnished, i found that N1CK's one was very good for me when starting out for cash, and id like to be able to pass what else ive learnt for myself. So i will be writing very detailed.

    Hopefully shouldnt take too much longer, but want to make sure its correct and it works first and not just me running like god. lol.
