at this point i put villain on the queen.

how much should i bet the river?

and are you ever worried here they might have a better house here??

Yeah i would of def bet half pot or maybe 3 quarters £3 to £4 there is a chance he has hit a miracle flush and you get paid and if he has full house with queens then its a really bad beat!! What happened??

i agree. 3/4 pot should do it. if you get raised, you know what has you beat.

Preflop raise more, flop bet more say 40p when he minraises you why do you just call ? Turn as played bet out bout £1.30 if he raises push if he calls then shove river.

i think you need to pay attention to your betsizing in relation to the effective stacks alot more.

good points but i felt i was fully in control of the hand here.

i dont like raising anymore than 3x pre with small pairs as most the time you miss then are faced with a load of over cards.

looking back i should of defo bet bigger but id hit the flop well on a rainbow board and didnt want to lose my customer as he had been playing pretty tight before this hand.

For me it's a pot size bet on the river, i can see the argument for 3 betting the flop but you don't want to lose your customer when you've flopped so big.
