To Donk or not to Donk?

Hi

I'm fairly new to the site (& playing) & therefore wouldnt feel confortable at the higher levels - not to mention dont have the bankroll for it!

The problem is the much aligned Donk bet, Obviously to all you high level players this is a bit of a no-no.

However it seems the only way to play at the lower level as you always have at least 20 callers to your pre-flop raise (possibly an exageration - but not by much!).

Do I want My KQ beaten after a flop of K103 by the bod playing his 63 & hoping for another 3 or a 6?

As c-Betting at this level is a rude word, there is no guarantee of any action until the river (sometimes not even then). Do I want to be giving free cards? Check raising doesnt work as same problem as c-betting.

Your thoughts please

Only ever play 63 - never KQ

If you have a load of fish on your table what ever level, bet your hand for value! If this is a "donk" bet so be it, this is fine.

it's important that you win as much as possible when you flop your hand, and make them pay for any draws.

It depends on your read of the opponants, if they do c bet alot then i like a check raise rather than the "donk" bet.

    Just keep it simples innit

Bet when you have it, don't when you haven't.

You're gonna want the caller with "35" hand, as your going to hold up more often then not
