It's always disappointing when a mate gets knocked out but I think that Mr Tranter should review his poker etiquette.
I have no problem being beaten by a better hand but when I've announced my cards, turned them over and he only turns over one card and covers the other until I rebuke him for slow rolling is not a nice way to play poker imo, expecially when he has seen my cards and knows he has a better hand.
Even though it was pointed out to him, not just by me, that what he did wasn't really 'cricket' he did it again today.
I realise that the poker table doesn't have to be the place to make friends but this tournament has been played mostly with a great community spirit and Mr Tranters ettiquette was the only thing that marred it for me.
Apart from that I thoroughly enjoyed my tournament and met some great people - thanks Sky Poker.
At least he was armed for the situation. Guinness-wielding Gavin Russ - aka 'davlad' - is our unfortunate bubble boy. He does get a seat into the Primo as consolation though. James Hartigan was on hand to watch the exit and subject the poor man to the infamous 'Bubble Boy' interview.
The remaining 27 players are in the money but none of them have a pint of the black stuff on the go.
