So, here we are at the gloriously sunny Dusk Till Dawn and the atmosphere is actually electric. 249 of the best poker players on site plus James Hartigan will be tackling two days of poker in a bid to win the £15,000 first prize and coveted SPT Grand Final Champion title. The title, as we know, means more.
It's a veritable who's who here, with Gliterbabe, DanTB10, Nutter5932, Penguin7, Daiboot, BrownnDog and two-time SPT champion Daveyzz taking their places at the bar while we settle some pre-tournament nerves. Our host is the evergreen Tony 'Tikay' Kendall, who rumour has it celebrated a birthday yesterday. I didn't realise they had dates before the invention of the Julian calendar, but we're going with it anyway.
Here Tikay must be coming to grips with one of his newest gadgets; a mobile phone. What better opportunity for a Caption Contest! Post your comments in on this gem of a pic:
We'll be keeping you up to speed with the latest from here in Nottingham, so that leaves us to wish each and every one of the players the best of luck in the season finale of the Sky Poker Tour. Good luck!
In slightly unrelated news, DTD tournament host Simon Trumper has managed to cajole the Sky Poker masses into singing Tikay "Happy Birthday". I hope this lot play cards better than they can sing...

Touching moments.
is jager dave out yet?
For the current seat draw
Lovely atmosphere here, tikay and Simon Trumper sharing the commentating duties
Though I hope I don't have to listen to Trumper singing Happy Birthday to tikay again, over the mike, for a year or so....
Meanwhile, on the next table...Roboclock1 raises in the cut off, RED-DOG re-raises on the button, and Roboclock1 pushes
RED-DOG folds after a long think...Pocket Kings
Roboclock shows Aces....
Great fold!
