gl fella, these stories of Sky Vegas tilt intrigue me. What do u play? how much do u stake at a time? lose over-all? u ever had a win?

Anyone wanna go into detail about a Vegas blow up for me????

It never crosses my mind, and Ive been known to tilt pretty bad in the past, no so much nemore, but had some monster tilts and Im never ever tempted to hit sky vegas....

I probably wouldnt know where to start.....

Sorry to hear that your leaving Barnsie, hope to see you back soon and good luck.

Doh, i have on a couple of occasions wasted over half my bank roll on sky vegas. I once had 500 and the following morning i had 150 or something.

350 donked off on vegas in less than half an hour because i was in a drunken state. it's so easily done especially on the fruit machines you just continue to press the start button without thinking. It's only the next morning you think what an idiot you have been.

I really do try and avoid it these days.

Ive never won more than £20 on the slots, but i did win about £300 on Rubiks once and a few other wins. the appeal of the slots though is that it is possible, although highly unlikely, to bink a lot of cash!

I don't play sky vegas when im sober I sometimes press the vegas button after i just bubbled on an mtt or something due to my stupid play.

That bubble can then cost me ALOT more!

The bottom line is, unless you get super lucky and bink a massive win in the tens of thousands, you will ALWAYS lose overall.

GL BARNSIE , HOPE YOU GET IT SORTED AND COME BACK SOON.

MOST OF MY LIFE I BACKED HORSES AND DID VERY WELL OUT OF IT TOO.
BECAUSE I CONCENTRATED ON BREEDING , I MAINLY BACKED HORSES WITH BIG ODDS,WHEN THE GROUND CONDITIONS CHANGED.THEN, THE LAST YEAR I WAS BETTING THEM , I HAD PROBLEMS IN MY LIFE ,WAS NOT COPING TOO WELL AND I STARTED BETTING FOR BETTINGS SAKE.IT GOT SO BAD ,I HAD TO GO COLD TURKEY
AND HAVE NOT HAD A BET FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS( APART FROM THE GRAND NATIONAL,LOL).
THIS IS THE MAIN REASON I STAY AWAY FROM CASH GAMES IN POKER,I DON'T TRUST MYSELF TO GO ON A LONG TILT. TBH, I DON'T THINK IT WOULD HAPPEN NOW BUT IM PLAYING SAFE.

THERE ARE MANY REASONS THIS CAN HAPPEN TO MOST PEOPLE,SO UNTIL YOU ARE CONFIDENT, I THINK YOU ARE DOING THE RIGHT THING.          GAMBLING SHOULD BE FUN !!!!

Dohhhhhhh .. I also used to pop to SKY VEGAS, usually after being busted out of a STT or MTT when I felt hard done by.  Often, what I had just lost at Poker, I could get back with one Blackjack hand or one spin of the roulette wheel.  In July, I had a great run at various Vegas games and took £4000 out but  things had got a bit scary by then i.e. very high stakes, so I have excluded myself for 6 months.

Can you self exclude from just one part of the site? I didn't think that was possible but maybe I'm wrong?

I must admit I've often been tempted by the vegas bit & have dabbled a little over there. It's just far too easy to do your whole account on there it's scary. It's not something I've ever done personally & anytime I do have a go it's always for very small stakes & even then you can do the best part of £30/£40+ in the space of 15-20 minutes.

Yeah it can be done Jay, it is split into 4 different categories, Poker, Vegas, Bet and Bingo. A drop down menu and a double "are you sure" message appears.

like dohhh, never play fruit machines, betted in horses(national only exception) dogs etc.there is no skill involved, just straight forward gambling and luck!. i work to hard to fritter my money away, much rather donk my chips off to others and put it down to bad players getting lucky!!!!!!!!

thanks for the kind words all

strange really as i have never been a casino player just found it to easy on here to play on sky vegas when tilted had a lot of personal problems which hasnt particularly helped tbh as well

also thanks for the numerous pm's sent already quite overwhelmed by them

i am a fairly big horse racing and football player which is a profitable arm for me nl holdem cash is no longer for the first time throw in the vegas and its all to easy to do far to much in to short a time.

and to anser your question dohhhhh i have actually not lost a great deal considering the amount i have staked on sky vegas but its not a road i want or need to head down (as greg says you cant and wont win long term)

    all the best
