bad player?

hi rob1986,last night you called me a bad player,as you could see i could not answer you as im chat banned,so you would have played my hand different?im on the big blind with78 its folded round to you (small blind)you call, the flop is56j,you bet 800,iv got 730 left with an up and down straight you go all in i call and hit my straight,and im wrong?i dont think iwas wrong,any body else think i was wrong?to be fair to rob, he had a j,im not saying hes a bad player, but i had no option but to call.

    Amazing how many people on here slow play a hand and then moan when they get outdrawn.
    You do'nt say what he had, but by letting you see the flop there is always a chance of you improving, which you did on the odds.
    IMO the bad play was on his part for not considering that if you had got anything  from the flop you (in view of your chip stack) would call any raise.

    Seems a standard call to me.
     
    However, i would have prefered to shove in pre tbh. 

    Less than 10bbs and im often shoving from bb in this situation. 78 aint a bad hand here imo.

    THEY DON'T SEE THERE MISTAKE (S)
    A FEW MINUTES LATER ,THEY DO EXACTLY THE SAME

    Very true ... I can take a normal beat or a bad beat with no problem at all but when I get called names or generally abused for playing basic ABC Poker it really annoys me.

    soh is always required in poker, maybe its a hole in your game that needs fixing!! p.s mr miyagi it was a tt i have you know!!!(with the handicap of eating half a duck and washing it down with 2.5 bottles of red, the last half got away and is laughing at me this morning for being a light weight)
