But as is a satelite top 4 paid out 11 left i was 3rd or 4th did i over commit? could i have got of this hand? so frustrating im putting it down as a cooler

You did fine, I think. No problem with limping the SB with ducks, you're not going to fancy them too much if it gets ugly preflop. UTGs preflop call was bad, IMO- he obviously wasn't slowplaying a premium hand, so not good for me- I think your evaluation of him as a solid player is the only thing I disagree with.

By not raising the BB, you have no idea what he has- you can be fairly sure at that stage he hasn't got queens, but you certainly couldn't put him on 4's in a million years. Just bad timing, it happens- no worse than going allin preflop with kings and coming up against aces.

what beaneh means is your read is that he is a solid player yet he limps UTG with a  6.5 BB stack

i know what he meant lol and my opinion is pokertrev is usually pretty solid, 1 bad move doesn't make him not

you cant fold pre as can check.......

Lol have you played Pokertrev before??? if not then cant judge him on a bad play etc thats like judging united on tuesday, imo Trev usually is solid and not easy to get chips of, very suprised at his play here but we all make mistakes

meh, I don't like the flop play either. With a player to act behind, I think you need to decide how much you like your hand and go with it, you can't just donk off that many chips for no reason. Leaving yourself 2 1/2 bigs behind after investing 4 is awful IMO, if he doesn't want to jam pre then he DEFINITELY needs to be jamming that flop or folding. If there were 5 remaining with 4 paid, I could understand it more since you'd hope someone gets knocked out, but with 11 left...

Sorry if pokertrev's reading this, I just can't see how that could ever be considered solid, he probably realised after he played the hand it was played poorly. Guessing this was an aberration.
