Evening Gang!

LML here standing in for Mr JH who is horribly unwell :(

So I'm sure you will all join me in wishing a big 'GET WELL SOON Mr Hartigan!!' type well wishy thing.

I'm sure that he'll be around virtually at some point to continue his OMAHARTIGAN Shennanigans..

Right to the matter at hand. Tonight's 8K guarantee Bounty HUnter!!

Gidzo and I are co-piloting this evening and we will be live on Sky Sports 4 from 10pm so buckle up and engage Poker engines..

After my ALMOST great ptp double stack endeavor last night.. (Let's not mention how lucky I got with double ups..or how badly I did in the TOT!).. I got to thinking about table image and what messages I am sending to other players unintentionally. Also about whether or not I am 'assessing' other players virtual 'reads' correctly..

So.. Floor open to you.

The topic is table image....

    Hi Lisa and Ed,

    My question on table image is how much can you rely on it, when you are in a quick structure(without knowing your opponents), and what do you think is the best table image?
    If you know that people have you down as a certain type of player, would it pay for you to play the opposite way to try and put them off the scent.

    Hi Lisa and Ed

    I have satellited in tonight so hopefully you will show some hands.

    My table image is a rock, I actually went all of day 1 at SPT Final without going all in. Unfortunately I was quite a short stack for day 2 so it was very loose on day 2, as a "dangerous shorty" I took numerous blinds so I must represent a decent image. Having said that I was saved by the river 4 times.

    I play like a rock and I look like a rock! What you see is what you get!!

    Got into this via the £1 sat on friday then made it in via the semi that night!

    Hi folks!

    Once again crashed out in the early stages of the 8k BH this evening and I don't really get why I keep doing this. This is the third time I have played the 8K with the same result every time. I have quite a good record in the lower priced BH tournaments and very rarely get knocked out early. Is this tourney a step too far for me at the moment?
    I went out tonight with 77 in the hole i was in the small blind and raised the big blind as there were only the 2 of us left he then re raised and i thought he had done this as he thought i was trying to steal his blind so pushed and ended up facing QQ.
