Heads Up School

Is there any decent threads for hU advise?

Playing in deepy last night & got to HU. had 50BB oppo 58.

Oppo raised 4x BB every hand (except some fold - memorably when I had AK & QQ) what do I do? If I call I'm playing a fairly big pot out of position & after missing the flop which obviously is most of the time I'm in no-mans land.

Re-raise with marginal hands? (I dont get good hands! lol) same problem as above only bigger pot.

Fold? Yuk. I'll get bullied if I fold all but decent hands.

Once down to 30BB his bets became 3x as I shoved on him a fair bit.

Any tips?

    hu i raise the button as much as possible usually any 2

    i dont do it every hand but do it a lot so then your oppo doesnt know when you really have the goods .

    hu i usually raise or fold i dont like limping in

    Was doing so but he called more often then shoved flop normally?

    Doesnt answer question about his button raises tho?

    it does answer the question he was stealing your blinds

    maybe had you down as a passive player 

    or just a nit like tikay sorry old wise one lol

    well if he is making it 4x otb very often that is just really bad and the way to exploit it is to 3bet him alot. you can also call with the intention of shoving over every cbet on good boards if he is cbetting too much also
