PLAYER 1: RAISE £150
PLAYER 2: CALL £100
PLAYER 3: FOLD
PLAYER 4: FOLD
PLAYER 5: CALL £100
PLAYER 6: CHECK

FLOP: 6-7-10
_______________________________________________________________________

THE FIRST QUESTION IM ASKING HERE IS, WHY AREN'T YOU SCARED OF A STRAIGHT?, I'LL KEEP THIS QUESION IN MY HEAD WHEN THE BETTING GETS GOING, WHY IS SOMEONE GOIN TO CHECK IF THEY'RE NOT SCARED OF THE STRAIGHT, ARE THEY A BAD PLAYER OR HAVE THEY HIT THE BIGGY? IF SOMEONE BETS OUT IN LAST POSITION THEN IM NOT PUTTIN THEM ON ANYTHING, IM RAISING, IF THE OTHERS FOLD THEY'RE BLUFFING AND I; WILL POP THIS RAISER ANOTHER QUESTION, IF HE CALLS THEN HES ON IT LARGE.

People never flop the nuts don't worry about it.

They might have a 10 though.

Well the only hand you're scared of there is 89, if someone has a solitary 8 or 9 then they're on a gutshot with massively less value. Is 89 a possible holding? Yes, but you certainly can't isolate someone's range to that. To all intents, that's a fairly dry board.

If however the board came 789 or something like that, then yes- it's extremely dangerous. Not only is there multiple straight possibilities (10-J being a common holding, but 610, 56 being possible) but there's the strong chance of a solitary 10 or 6 for an open ender, as well as Q's and 5's for gutshots. That makes it a hugely dangerous board.

I'm still not entirely sure what's going on here, however. Where are you going with this?
