technical issue

Reading the issues over disconnects prompts me to post an issue which may be connected. I find that when I do something else on the Laptop while the game is continuing - even something simple like checking emails - I can hear the game in the background carrying on and wait for it to pop up when I get a hand to play. But when it does pop up or I click it to the front , it races thro' hands at great speed and my hand is autofolded before I've even seen it. So the game on my machine must be running slower than the true game while it sits in the background. This has only started happening recently and nothing else has changed. Just wondered if anyone else suffered this or had any ideas ?

i`v not had this prob as i only have poker running and i only play one game ( don`t like multi-tabling) but still got disconnection ??

On my old computer it used to do the same thing when i had more than 2 or 3 windows open.

i,m no computer whizz but i know it takes up a lot more memory to play on here  than on a downloaded site and will slwop games down if youve got to much running in the background

3 days now - without disconnection

i presume Sky have sorted there problems from last cpl of weeks

THINK THIS IS A PC PROBLEM NOT SKY IMO

IS YOUR PC OLD OR LOW MEMORY?? SOUNDS LIKE YOUR PC IS NOT FAST ENOUGH TO MULTI TASK.. TRY CLEANING YOUR MEMORY OR UPGRADING YOUR PC... MY OLD COMPUTER DID EXACTLY THE SAME... NOT HAPPENED ONCE SINCE MY NEW LAPPY ARRIVED

I had a simular problems when I used Windows XP all seems fine now I have Windows 7.

I use Vista and Internet Explorer and have a similar problem if I have a web page open on full screen so that it covers the game window.  However if I reduce the size of the covering window so that the game screen can be partially seen at the top of the screen then everything runs perfectly.  Don't quite sure why it happens but it started when I went back to Explorer after using Firefox for a while.
