Tonight's Primo Show thread

Yes it's PRIMO!!

Mr Onlyone Schmuckbox CT has reliably informed me via the medium of social networking that he has Super satellited in.. So Congrats Mr T!!

Mr Harris is fighting fit and ready for action.. and I have munched my way through about an UBER healthy dinner of baked Salmon, Onions and Quinoa.. swiftly followed by 8 of Tikays chocolate biscuits (The best ones obv) dunked in a mug of Builders.

Sky Mandy is in charge so we will be mostly behaving.. Of course Sky Mandy will probably be mostly misbehaving in her usual mischievous way so if I do or say anything I shouldn't then I'm definitely just repeating Sky Mandy ;)

Otherwise all aboard the Primo express for a rip roaring night of Premiere Tournament Poker, Poker clinic advice and even a wee cash injection of sorts!

Sky Mandy has been reliving her dark and shady past this week.. Well ok, watching Bagpuss.. At her desk (For Poker related research she reckons..) Which got me thinking about guilty TV pleasures.. You know, those programmes we watch but DENY..

For me it's X-Factor and Britains next top model. AWFUL. Yet strangely compelling. And my random Sci fi geek fest programmes don't count because I have no shame whatsoever about having seen all of Stargate SG-1. Atlantis and Universe at least once..twice.. or you know, far too often!!

So lets do one!!!

    Hi Lisa Marie,

I think Mandy was watching Bagpuss for "forum related" (NOT poker related) research! Just look at her wonderful thread in the Sky Poker TV Channel section and all will become clear, although I don't quite get the point of it! lol

Programmes I never watch (obviously!) include...
The Hills - astoundingly bad and wasn't quite the same without Lauren
Are You Smarter Than A Ten Year Old - You learn something new every day
America's Next Top Model - So much better (worse?) than the British version.....! ;-)

Have a great show and please only show my winning hand....there will probably only be one!

PS Ask Mandy about the Marvelous Mechanical Mouse Organ! lol

Is Stargate Universe anygood?  Haven't seen any since SG1, was thinking about getting the box set but I have about 100dvds unopened that I have to get thru yet.

LML obviously still needs supervision when conversing with people other than those that are inside her head......

But, to add to her marvellous choice of topic for discussion this evening, then I must agree with LML, as I too have succumbed to the Top Model series - I have not been privy to the British version as yet, but will admit that I have watched most of the American series. I don't think there is anything wrong with admitting to watching X-Factor though - the preliminary rounds of auditions have made some of the most entertaining viewing I have ever seen to TV to date.  Come to think of it, I don't think you can find much wrong with the contents of my Sky Plus Planner:

Fifteen to One - I'm an intellect you know
    Eastenders - some light relief
Lie To Me - to help the poker tells of course
Casualty - I'll always know what to do in an emergency
    Mythbusters - I love geeks
Sky Poker - anything 865 FTW!!!

    ;)

We were dreadful - but at least Chelsealostand Utd dropped points too.

Ialso greatly enjoyed Spurs' pathetic display at West Ham.

LOVE 'Lie to me' Tim Roth replied to me on Twitter last week.. Admittedly I tricked him into it but we iz like best buds now.. He doesn't know this of course..

I'm also loving The gates, The Event (Not sure about this one yet just watched the Pilot), the new series of Bones, Grey's Anatomy, Glee, Brothers and Sisters and Hawaii 50 (I actually auditioned for Kono who is now played by Grace Parks.. )

Wow.. I really need to get out more..

I LOVE Due South.  One guy's a Mountie who helps old ladies across the road, the other is a hard nose Chicago Cop who likes to bend the rules.  They're the original odd couple.  Seriously, it was a great show.
