Got to heads up in a £150 BH, had won 6 out of 7 pots down to aggression without a showdown. Opponent seems fairly standard, do you call?

    You got 100xbb behind HU?

There's only the straight draw (9J) he could be jamming with that you can beat,(JK wud raise pre I presume?) - and 3 worse queens. Loads more hands he could have you beat, and even if he has Q3,4,5, split pot is likely anyway. You're far more likely to be crushed.

I'm folding and waiting to try and outplay him - You say you've won 6/7 small pots by playing strong stuff? - Keep doing that.

Yeh you have a shot to win it here and now, but you still have the chip advantage, and Id believe I have a skill edge too until proven otherwise.

(Btw - nice structure to be this deep when HU!!)

I insta fold but I dont like your check raise with the weak top pair because you will fold out the hands you beat and get shoved on by the hands that beat you, so effectively you are turning your hand into a bluff which is unnecessary here because your top pair has a lot of value from weaker hands.

snap call, top pair the nuts heads up :o) also as you have won 6/7 hands i would say they could be making a stand or be on a draw aswell, although could be beaten im calling

i would never check raise flop but once shoved on it looks like he is making a move in fairness and as its a BH it wouldnt suprise me if he is sitting there with a rag ten! However BH or not there really is no grounds to call this you are beaten by so much just let it go and carry on playing how u have been playing to get such a big stack.

And next time u get top pair with a shoddy kicker try and control the pot and keep it as small as poss u will lose so much building a pot with a hand like that in the long run.

I agree with different points made by Young_Gun and Dohhhhhhh here. I think if you have won the last 6/7 hands without a showdown through aggression, he is definately making a stand here a lot of the time with a 10 (or maybe even a 2!!). However, it comes down to the fact that your 100BBs deep (how?? lol) so I am definately folding here I'm afraid as I think with those stacks if I have any kind of edge I am going to win more often than I will if I call here.

I can see the points that all have made and took the whole clock to make my decision, i agree that the check raise wasn't the best move but have a strong feeling he was making a move. I know how frustrating it is when you just can't win a hand heads up so i decided on the call as i thought i was ahead of the range he is shoving here. And i've no idea how i got to heads up with 100BB lol
