Would you prefer more chips to start?

Just wondering would you prefer all tournaments on sky to start with 2,000 chips rather than thestandard 1500? I feel with such a small amount to start even with 10 minute blinds it can be a double or bust after only 30 mins. Im currently playign a tournament with this structure and iv had no hands (which often happens) its only 30 minutes in and im finding myself in all in or fold situation.

 What does everyone else prefer?

I think that its fine as it is, I do tend to prefer faster tournies tho and I know that you are a deep stack specialist so we're bound to have different views!

Yeh i can understand that some people want faster trnys online because lack of spare time etc.. thats why i wanted other views, because if thats what we all want... then well.....

I'm fairly sure that 1500 with 10 min blinds is kind of the online poker standard for tournies, not sure tho so will take a look on other sites tournie lobbies when I'm next logged in.

I would also imagine that these tournies are more aimed at the more 'casual' players, so therefore time will be an issue like you said.

You can see the difference when most deepstack tournies on here have the same 'core' players which you don't get on the standard ones bar the open etc.

    Hi flash

I've voted for a higher starting chip count.  Like you, i think that the standard 1500 doesnt give you the same room to be artisitc with bets, and you quickly get to the point where your whole stack will be committed.  Scotty makes an absolutely valid point about online players often preferring a faster format, so I suppose as long as there is a range for people to choose from, we cannot be too unhappy.

    Definately more
3000 seems the norm on other site, gives you a chance even if you get a suck out
55 quid entry with 1500 chips is not good value

its normally 100 big blinds so it's going to be difficult for Sky to change the format.
Personnaly, I would like to see minimum 10 min blinds, instead of 7 or 5 mins in some featured tourneys.
