This ones for DOHHHHH

I was playing with DOHHHHH for a wee while in the 10K BH and this hand annoyed the **** out of him as he had know idea what I had. Knowing DOHHHHH is an aggressive player I put him on two over cards. I limped in to see a pot and go set hunting.

He raised, i then re-raised. Unsure if it was a smart decision after the length of time it took him to fold.

Right move? He then told me he had an 8, but don't know if i'm a believer ;)

    why would he not have a8?? just cos he's aggressive doesnt mean he cant have a hand when he folds

    your re-raise does look strong tbh, although i probably would have shoved on you being the fish i am

    Can't see why we would raise here. Only get called by hands that beat us/fold out all we beat.

    Hard for Doh to have an 8 here.  Maybe 89suited.

    a8 suited or you think he would have raised pre?

    I dont see why jj would lie tbh although its poker bluffing and all if he said he had a8 in this spot i'd believe him unless he is trying to get a different image

    I'm sure there's sarcasm in there somewhere but your welcome :)

    Young_Gun, if i was in DOHHH's position and raised, then got re-raised and I had A8, i'd probably shove the lot in after the re-raise.... no? That's why I'm a non believer.
