Right or Wrong?

Hi

This was in a £2.20 Deepie last night where I was on the receiving end of a the "u fish" etc comments from a regular player.

I know this is fairly accurate overall (lol) but true in this case?

I considered I had 11 outs after flop IF my Ace was good equating to say 40% - 45% chance. I had the guy covered confortably so even facing a shove on turn may still be able to continue if pot odds right.

Surely I am getting value for the call as nearly 2:1?

Am I wrong to call as I would consider my opponent to be a better player than I am so I have to give credence to his view?

Is pretty fishy tbf, pre flop questionable whether to call mainly as oop

on that flop cannot see why you have called it is terrible regardless whether you thought your ace would be good if it came doesnt mean its going to(although it did), You have gut shot aswell but still not a fan on that flop they have showed you their strong and you havent really picked up on it

I prefer your flop call to your call pre tbh

I call that flop bet as well - I think the opponent should have bet more on flop - had they shoved then it's hard for you to call. You were all over that flop for the str8 and Back door flush so imo with your stack you were right to call.

    Fold pre.

If you're gonna continue on that flop, you gotta push, you never know, he might fold!!!

Did pick up on the fact i'm behind - not necessary to KK but at least something like qqjj or even qqq, jjj. Aq, AJ
Obviously these last 4 means my A is no good.

With regard to draws I have 2 gutshots - any K for str or any 9 for smaller str.

Must admit to not even considering flush draw.

Fold pre seems to be the prevailing opinion tho so far - thanks for the advise guys
