Spot the Sky Poker 'presenter'.....

You have to watch this TV clip very closely to see if you can 'spot' the presenter here in some early day footage......who went on to slightly better things than this....

    oh my gosh.  i used to watch big breakfast every morning before school.  i always knew that i'd seen rich somewhere before, never realised he was on that tho!

    why is morning tv so rubbish?  get Johnny Vaungh/Denise and Rich back instead of repeats of american tv shows or whatver channel 4 has on.

    OMG.

    I must apologise - I assumed everyone knew it was a sort of long-term running joke.
     
    When I first started working with Rich Orford, at Sky Poker, I googled him, so I had some idea of what to expect, what his background was, what he looked like, even. So I could say, when I met him "oooh, you have always been a fave of mine"......

    Unfortunately, I had a senior moment, & googled "Richard Bacon", by mistake.

    Based on that, I formed a particular view of Richard's "social habits", shall we say.

    He always seemed very normal - if badly dressed - to me, but it was not until last year, that I suddenly realised that Richard Bacon & Richard Orford were different people. With different social habits.

    I cannot delete the Post now, as once people have seen it, it would serve no purpose.

    So I must reiterate that I was just joking when I referred to him as Richard Bacon. My sincere  apologies. He happens to have become a quite close personal friend, & I absolutely idolise him, in fact. Orford that, is, not Bacon.

    PSD - It gets worse. I e-Mailed a link to the thread to Rich Orford, so he could comment on his career highlight of "Spot The Sausage". So when he sees your response to my Post, he is so gonna love me........whoops.

    It may make more sense if you read this. 

    And as a good friend just reminded me via e-Mail, I got Andy Roddick & Greg Rusedski mixed up on one unforgettably embarrassing occasion here at Feltham. Jeez, that one took some digging to extricate myself from.

    Brilliant vid. I think I remember Rich being in the show. He had so much confidence and charisma for someone of such a young age. It's a shame now he has all the charisma of damp rag...jokes ;)

    I wonder if there's a forum somewhere where folks are sympathising with Richard Bacon for getting mixed up with Richard Orford?

    I have a parental lock on this thing so I can't go looking myself.
