...that we all stopped playing at SKYPOKER until these problems are sorted out??
WHY should we have to worry and stress about our hard earned money??
WHY should we have to come onto the forum to try and find the answer because we can't get any response from the so called 'help lines'??
Can someone name me ANY OTHER SITE where this has happened????????????????/
I'm not a 'big roller' and when my balance falls as much as it did...i worry!!!!!
Comments
name the other site where this has happened m8...!!!!!!!
I have been playing online poker ( badly) for over a year and a half at 4 (FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!) different sites.
I have NEVER KNOWN any other site show an incorrect balance
Big +1 to Jakally. SkyPoker have really improved when it comes to notifying the community of problems and I don't think they've done a thing wrong here. A ton of other sites with and without forums don't even acknowledge site problems. Plus as Jak said Sky always sort these out.
While Sky sort this out I'm going to pop on Call of Duty and shoot some Americans. Rock on!
Your post is an insult. We just want to play poker......name the sites where this has happened............don't hide them..
To answer your first point, I am not nor ever have been employed by SkyPoker, BSkyB or any company connected to either the Murdoch Millions or Online Gaming.
In reference to naming sites, if I was to name them at best it's rude and lacks class to slam sites on a forum and at worse without the dates (which I have not recorded) it's a form of defamation.
I'm not hiding anyone or anything. I know you are concerned about your funds, I too have a couple of hundred floating in the system. What I am trying to say is that sites have problems from time to time. I understand you are frustrated but in my experience SkyPoker are very good are fixing these problems, have got a lot better in updating the community (see several posts in the General Forum from Sky Adam concerning this) and will refund your account. I don't think this calls for a mass walk out, but that's just my opinion.
i-Poker, and Absolute Poker / Ultimate Bet, have got bad reputations but there are others.... some of which have since gone busto.
HOWEVER />>you might forgive me for saying that most of the Forum answers seem to be coming from ' experienced' SKY poker players who have 'never known this to happen' rather than those who maybe have only been playing online poker for two or three years and have experience at other sites of having their balance erradicated
Your point is well made. I concede that these events are hardly regular and many people could quite easily have not experienced this before.
I'm merely speculating but the problem looks like a breakdown between wallets (as you are aware, we can use the same account for SkyPoker, SkyBet, SkyVegas) etc. It looks like it's all been going one way but is being fixed now. Players may not have experienced anything like this before if they normally play on Poker Only sites and not sites that combine a Casino, Sportsbook etc with the poker. I'll confess, all previous issues I have had has been with sites from the later type and not the former (not that poker only sites don't have problems, just not problems like this in my experience).
My money has been sorted now, I hope yours has as well ACBRO as well as everyone else's.
