the league in the sit and go division is mainly for most players who can win more roulette than others, i can bet any money the mast amount of players in the top 10 will play roulette more than any other games as it is over within minutes, i seen one player have 4 roulette games in lobby and was still there after 1 hour later.
i must admit this is great for SKY POKER as roulette is mainly played at 15% rack where as head up and double ur money is less, but when u look at the league it dont run true,

No i don't think you should i thought it was a min of 6 players to get league points maybe its something Sky Poker can look into lol
No of course it shouldn't it's just wrong.
Now there's a situation where anyone can finish in the top 30 of the STT league just by playing RRs. In fact, its entirely possible that 30 people could all play RRs for 3 months (at minimal cost really bearing in mind over time you only expect to lose the rake) thereby guaranteeing that an RR 'specialist' gets onto team SkyPoker. So wrong it's untrue and would be good but sad if 30 people got together to do this to prove the point.
This point has been raised a few times in the past and I myself tried to get it sorted just a couple of months ago when I revived an old thread against it. I did get an official response from Sky and that was that they cannot get rid of league points for RR games as they are the same buy-in as other tournaments. That was wrong and misses the point in my opinion. I think the misunderstanding on Sky's part here comes from the distinction between league points and cash for points. Of course RR players should be rewarded in terms of cash for points but the "league", almost by definition, should involve some concept of skill in my opinion.
If the situation is changed now (that TSP has been introduced) I would be very disappointed in the sense that it should of been done before when people brought up the issue. Nothing has changed except the prize (some people may have preferred monthly cash prizes). That being said of course I would like to see it changed, better late than never when something is wrong, but as I've said very disappointed and curious to know how they could justify a change now when they couldn't before.

The league points are distributed upon buy-in for all our STT tournaments, which includes the Russian Roulette tournaments. This means that playing in a tournament such as this will gaive you more league points. I understand these tournaments are only very short so you can play in more and more to improve your league standing, however the buy-in is the same as most other STT tournaments and therefore will remain as part of the league points structure.
As per the terms and conditions:
Single Table Tournament Points (STT's) are awarded based on the buy-in, finishing position and no. of entrants
Single-Table tournaments relates to all Sit & Go tables, which in some cases will be made up of multiple tables. E.G. a 3 tabled 18 seat scary Sit & Go.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,

if this is true then why does SKY put a 15% rake on this event .... something fishy
I definately don't think you are doing anything wrong at all, you can only play the system that is put in front of you and as you allude to the prize is so great that you cannot really afford not to. (BTW you are well up there mate I didn't think you would be worried. I am just in the top 30 and hopefully it won't come to it but if it does, I guess I will have to play RRs for a bit
It's also correct (imo) what you say about buy in. The buy-ins vary so greatly and there are only 3 (I think) different levels of points. There is definately room for more levels here imo as anything above £10 gets the same.
Whilst on the whole subject, I also think it only right that places 1,2,3 get the same amount of points. It is quite silly how it is at the moment especially that 3rd gets none.

IMO there should be no league points awarded for RR, also 1st, 2nd and 3rd in a DYM should all get the same number of league points.
It's a disgrace that the top STT league prizes always went to RR players, though you cant really blame them for using the loophole to their advantage.
Now that the monthly prize money has gone I expected this would be less of a problem, imagine the embarrasment for the site if one of the RR specialists luckboxed their way through the quarterly tournament and became a member of TSP!
The same league points to all three at the end of a dym and end the game automatically. (its common sense really!)
I have raised this on several occasions before.
All 3 players (winners of the DYM) should also be awarder League points imo.
I don't like RR but played a load with nutter last night, it's just crazy that you get 3 league points for each £1.10 RR you win, I think I will play a load more of them now - obv not v nutter cos the guy runs to Golden, imo ofc
If you want to be in TSP though, RR FTW as it stands at the moment.
