Hello!
Everyone's favourite firm of tailors, Hartigan & Harris will be with you from 8pm for Master Cash.
Now, I know many of you have offered some constructive feedback about the show over the last few days/weeks. Your comments have been taken on board and, no doubt, you'll see some changes/tweaks to the format in the next few weeks.
But, as far as this evening is concerned, we're sticking with the plan: low-limit action for the first hour; Cash 300 for the second two hours; and Top of the Pots for the final hour.
Tonight marks the end of a pretty poker-heavy week for me. I've been ploughing my way through the 28 hours of TV coverage of this year's WSOP main event, ahead of the final table in a fortnight's time. Yes, after a three-month break, the world's biggest poker tournament will FINALLY reach its conclusion. So, here's our hot topic for this evening...
If you made the 'November Nine', how would you spend the three months before the final table?
Would you "study like Shulman," analysing tape of your opponents and honing your Hold'em skillz? Maybe you'd "do a Darvin" and not even think about poker for 12 weeks? Perhaps you'd enjoy your proverbial 15 minutes of fame, courting the attention of the poker press?
Please e-mail your responses to skyopen@bskyb.com, or post away in this thread.
There may even be a couple of spot prizes for the best answers. I am known for my generosity. Just ask the staff at the Blossom restaurant at Aria. Sigh.

I would spend the 3 months playing russian roulette games on Sky Poker to get enough league points to gain entry into Team Sky Poker
I think for me it would be a mixture tbh, Plenty of research on the other players at the table, lots of live practice to iron out any leaks tells etc and a nice little 2 week holiday on a beach somewhere would be nice to recharge before the big day
James and Trevor will have the discretion to award entry into a (SKY POKER) tournament of their choice to any strong play during this time frame.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
Aisling
Can't watch tonight as I am out on the town in York, if I had a 3 month break before the final table of WSOP I would play lots of Facebook poker with Filippo Candio, that should be enough time to learn his game!
Have a great show
Dave
(However, I must clarify: we WON'T be able to enter you into a $50k event at next summer's World Series!)
I have to admit id already be planning how to spend $8M but mostly probably sitting in a casino somewhere in Vegas on a cash table grinding away for 12 hours a day like a complete idiot while watching for Norman Chad slagging my raise with 72os UTG comming up on ESPN.
Do I win £5?

Most definately. I would get an agent 1st and milk it for some extra cash, perhaps even write a book.
I would get a bank loan and travel the world attending sports events at the same time - PGA golf, European Tour, some cricket in the Caribean, some footy matches in South America, some rugby down under a Formula One grand prix somewhere
In the meantime I would pay someone like yourself James a small fee for doing some research on my opponents and arrive a week early to study that and play a little before the main event.
Have a good show
If i was in the 9
I wouldnt play another game of poker because i was still in the middle of a game lol
i'd eat pizza, watch 865 and rail any online games the players were involved in...i'd also ask mere to compile a player profile for me to read on the way to the table...
i might even do a beanah and read the profiles at the table...
and a coxy...pausing only to go all in...
xx
If i had three months off i would rent a mansion by the coast then :- hire Tikay as my butler, Orford as the floor sweeper, bin emptier etc, James as my chauffeur (always get good chat about films, nfl etc!!), Trevor and Ed as my minders. Then of course the lovely LML would be my (very) personal assistant!!!
Have fun

Hi James & Trevor
Re the 2d 4d hand when i hit flush on flop
Thought it was worth 60p to see a flop when i hit the flush i wanted to protect my hand so i bet out on flop & turn reason i checked river was i put him on higher flush as he called my previous 2 bets
I am still learning about bet sizing on Cash Tables so could you give me an idea of what % of pot i should of bet
