I obviously must have played this like a complete novice?

I was worried on the flop just incase he had the other K or even a better 10, but once the 3rd King came on the turn, I thought I was in much better shape as it was unlikely he had the other K.

I thought at worst its gonna be a split pot if he has the other 10 until the 4th K came on the river. Obviously he now knows I don't have a King.

Should I and could I have played this a lot better?

    fold pre.
river action depends almost entirely on villain.

    fold pre

    flops ok

    turn ok

river is awful.  if you hvae a read then check/call as Q high is chopping/good vs some of his range.  once he min raises snap fold.

for me it's either fold or raise pre, don't like the flat call as you're inviting a bad hand to have a chance of hitting. And i'd be folding the river much like the above post.

O the bright side it's always a pleasure to get involved in hands where an oppoment values a-2 os. A-2 s isn't that clever either.

Personally should be fold pre, but if you are going to play pre raise as UTG no good can come of a call 99% of the time
