It doesn't matter if you're not in the running to win the league.  In fact, even if you haven't played in any of the other OHL events, why not register now?  There's still prize money to be won and a lot of fun to be had :)

    In case you missed them yesterday, here are my profiles of the top 5 contenders:

    blankcheck
    Took down two tournaments back-to-back (PLO8 in Week 2; and PLO in Week 3).  Plus, made the final table of the PLO event in Week 5.

    LEON1
    Came second twice (in the PLO tournaments in Weeks 2 and 5) and went deep in the PLO8 events in Weeks 4 and 5.

    OnlyOneCT
    Has played every event and has proved himself as a PLO8 specialist, securing wins in the Hi-Lo tournaments in Week 1 and Week 4.

    starnow
    Made his debut in Week 2, when he came second in the PLO8 event.  He won the same tournament in Week 5.

    zippman
    Several deep runs and a couple of final tables, finishing third in the PLO8 in Week 1 and in the PLO in Week 4.

    Ooh, a couple of other things…

     

    As the evening progresses, I’m sure a better man than I (MereNovice?) will be able to calculate who needs to finish where in what tournament to secure victory!

    In the event of a tie at the top of the table, the relevant players will proceed to the “play-offs” next Monday (1st November).  This will take the form of an Omaha STT.  Precise details to be confirmed.

    DEAD MONEY ALERT!

    Tikay advises me that he's out and about on the live circuit this evening, so won't be able to play the OHL tournaments.  But he's registered for both, so that's an extra £3 in each prizepool.  And, if you're lucky enough to draw his table, 2,000 free chips in each event.

    17 players are currently registered for the 19:10 PLO - and 14 for the 21:25 Hi-Lo.

    (Once again, I can't cut and paste from the tournament lobby without it going funky.  Possibly a Safari issue?)

    One for the tech geeks (i.e. Machka) - I can't get a list/table from the tournament lobby to format properly in either Safari or Firefox.  Any ideas?
