In Response to Re: Win an SPT seat this November in Orford's multi-table hoedown! : Well this particular tourny always has been, but perhaps they will change it - I think it would work better as a freezeout for this comp. And will attract more players as cheaper?? Maybe worth considering imo Plus we all wanna beat Maxally as well :-) Posted by darich
All sorted Rich. £2.20 freezeouts. All systems go!
Already have the sleepstack, doublestack, and £5 Totty on Wednesday. I wd b reluctant to miss those if favour of multi table donkfests but gd luck Posted by SoLack
Yes Solly, but can you win a seat at the SPT by playing those? I think not. Besides a man of your calibre should be able to handle playing those tournaments AND the Multiballs, certainly for the first couple of weeks and then you can concentrate on the Multiballs when the numbers get high and you're doing well in the league
like the idea of a league but like they say in little britain.. when i ask my laptop to run 6 tables the same time... "COMPUTER SAYS NO" Posted by bigflop1
By the time we get to 6 tables, you should be using the download software. So..no problemo!
In Response to Re: Win an SPT seat this November in Orford's multi-table hoedown! : This is probably gonna coincide with the release on the download, so the multi tabling promotion will be used to "show off" the new software. Problem with 6 will be finding room on the screen!! Also, playing 6 at once is gonna mean that loads of players will struggle, and probz make a mess of most of the tournys, so unless you HAVE to play 6, if you wanna take the league seriously it would probably be better just to enter 3/4 to give yourself the best chance of cashing. Posted by DOHHHHHHH
Good advice Dohhhhh- might be on to something with that strategy there. I, however, will enter the lot and expect to end up cashing in 2 or 3 out of 6 say. (For 'expect', read 'hope')
From what you have said Richard does this mean you dont have to play 4 on the 4th week or 5 on the 5th etc. but can enter just 2? Steve Posted by bigbiker22
Absolutely Steve. You would probably win the league if you only played 3 or 4 tournaments in total and won the lot. Although, as I say, the more you enter the more chance you're giving yourself of topping the league by cashing in them all.
If you got off to a flyer, I guess you could power down on the number of tournaments by the end. Instead of playing all 6 coz you need to maximise your chances of going up the league table, you could maybe play a solid 2 or 3 and play them well.
If you're worried about the computer handling it- then you should have the download software available by then which will run 6 tables no problem.
Also- you can stick them all on mini-view so they fit on your screen.
£2.20 Freezeouts Imaginative competition structure and good inclusive use of upcoming download development. This is not only Poker for the people it's a work of sheer genius. Did you have help Rich? Posted by Dud_Butini
Lol, thanks Dud...I think.
Yes, could be a winner this. Looking forward to Wednesday
Now Rich i have to ask with the naming of the MTT tourney series called MULTIBALL, did you get the inspiration from someone like Dale Winton as its very lottery sounding-esque with Dale asking us all to show him our balls!.............lololol.............
I'm running bad in spectacular fashion on the tables and im due for a wander in the wilderness but i will support this as much as i can on the basis that you dont mention how bad Man City play against Midlands teams and i dont mention how much i look forward to seeing West Brom getting relegated. ))))
