1) Bet the full pot rather than 3/4 with that many opponents (even over-bet if you like, depending on opponents)
2) Make a note about his call on the flop and bet relentlessly for value in future spots vs him
Also the latter, surley your expecting your calling for a split, knowing your also commited ?
The 2nd hand I would fold pre I don't personally think there's any need to get involved with marginal hands that early on but that's just my style I guess. If you're going to play I think your raise size is perfect.
I really like your bet on the flop I think you played that just about perfect. Having been called on the flop, though, I really think you need to slow down. A 2 pair hand here is easily within his range and this is what I would be putting him on. I would go into check/call or check/fold mode depending on his bet sizing and that goes for the turn and the river, even having made the straight.
If you look at the net result of this hand you have exited the DYM 1st level with a marginal hand blind on blind and it's not due in any way to a cooler situation. This is an absolute disaster in DYM play and if you can eliminate this I think you will see an immediate improvement in your results/ROI.
First hand bet pot on that flop with amount of players in hand
