Hi guys, just wondering what you think on the bet sizing in this hand, i knew the opponent was either drawing or had a king on the turn because of notes i have on him, is the raise big enough?

i would bet more flop pot it, turn i would then bet more 3/4 and if they re-raise would shove em if you think they are drawing or willing to stack of with pair of kings

As played then no the raise wasn't enough to get him off the OESD and FD, as he only needs about 3:1 at the turn and you gave him exactly what he needed. Personally with his reraise I Jam the turn and if he has the straight its a reload, and if he is on a draw or the king let him have the headache of calling or not.

don't pot the flop. we has a set - we don't want him to fold.

Looks well played to me, you didn't give him 3/1 on the turn as stated above, 2.16/1 to be precise. He thinks he is drawing to 12 outs (any diamond or queen, though actually it's less as some of them give you a full house or quads) from 46 cards, pot odds of 2.83/1. I think your bets on all streets were well balanced and +ev over the long term. Perhaps your shove on the river could be questioned with 3 diamonds on the board. You got unlucky this time, but should still play it the same way in future.

Thank you for that Gary, helpful to see the odds i gave him and so on, and as for the shove it was more of a 'you've probably just made a flush, but what the **** i'm commited to this' type thing.
