This was my 1st hand of the day :(

I think I get it in on the flop pretty much all the time, as villians range is weighted more to an underset or straight flushy type draws than a flopped straight. And even if he flopped a straight I still have 10 outs to house up...

It was more a question of psychology, as for the next 10/15 minutes I found myself forcing the issue, trying to win the money back from the loss on the 1st hand as soon as possible...

So after another £25/30 loss here and there, I realised what i was doing and decided to quit and go get a coffee !

Figuring this extra loss in - is it still worth it ????

    ouch, moral of the story raise your BB with strong hand 99. If called by 108 off still and they make straight u set then not much more you can do as you say you have 10 outs with additional on turn if missed

    This type of hand is why I try desperately not to get into any big all in type pots early on, as I've got zero feel of table, or settled into my game.

    Difficult to get off though even if its a bit later maybe. UL, hope tables are kinder tomorrow. :)
