I've done this once when I had AA and really needed the toilet, so I shoved all in and rushed off, because I didn't want to fold the best hand and couldn't hold it in.

It must be Lucky77777 with pocket aces obv.

Actually, I have done this a couple of times in live tournies just to tilt the table and make them think I was crazy. Won one and cashed in the other so worked out ok.

you called him pre TT V 99 and he hit a set. or you called him post flop and his 999s beat your over-pair?

Ah the hand in question here was later on.

I had 10s in the same place. This time he flatted. Flop cam 9J5 i think

    i bet

    he shoved again

i put him on overs and made the worst call of my poker life to see the set of 9s get shown.

u gotta realise don Alive is a nit so definately had the goods when shoving. maybe he just doesn't like getting outdrawn? who knows but still defo fold on both hands in question especially as overcard on board to your 10s

Yea i know. I even said it, he either got a set or he got nothing. A went with the wrong answer. I played 2 or 3 hands badly except for that i played pretty decent. Although in fairness id been on a heater to build my stack, i just came off it at the wrong time.

Don.....look at this hand again mate.

The villian....cough...hatty.....was only after the (best player on the table) big blind!!! He carnt pay post flop so hence shove  :) Its got nothing to do with your correct raise IMO and yes you were unlucky later when running your overpair into his set. Me personally, would of let that hand go and wait. Keep your chip lead you had at the time, or even increase it, wait to trap him and jam jam jam.

    Now......if it was a rebuy......:))

As you said mate spewy call the second time.

If it was a rebuy (which i treated the second hand as) then i snap call here, i think im likley racing in this hand. So therefore id take the chance with a rebuy if needed.

Also by this point my chip lead was long gone. Id dwindelled away from 30K after ur FH v my Trips.

I told u id tilt ay 9.01 lol.

Hand in question is a fold even with over cards wouldnt fancy a race taking chip stack into account and doubt he has two lower cards unless paired but u cant make that read and be 100% sure so fold IMO
