Trying to understand the thinking?

This is not a bad beat thread - just trying to understand WHY?

This happened in the £2.20 deepie earlier today:

This may have been Lv1 - on the button with AA, facing 2 limps I raise 7X BB & utg calls - flop comes AJ3, Checked to me & I check (possibly a mistake - didnt wanna lose my customer tho) Turn card 8. Checked to me I bet Pot+ which is called. River is a 5. Checked to me I make value bet & is CALLED only. UTG shows 42o for the straight.

I fail to understand the logic of calling oop a 7x raise with 42o - anyone any ideas? I was amazed I didnt blow my stack as I would never put oppo on that holding & Trip Aces with no fl draws looks the nuts to me so if raised on river I want to get it all in,

Anyway still smarting somewhat 20ish hand later this happens:

Not the greatest shove in the world I know, but my thought processes at the time were something along the lines of - If ur gonna call 7x try this!

This was a different opponent this time but same table

I'm trying very hard to find reasons for this thinking re the call?

Anyone offer any ideas why this sort of thing happens - unfortunately things of this nature seem to happen a lot. I beginning to think best bet is sit out 1st hour of any MTT to avoid this sort of thing?

i wouldnt say sit out, although i wouldnt shove either. seems you got a payday table - if things worked out.

Not sure what to say. Suited maybe, but still not to all in. Hmmmm.

PM me opponents name, i like playing these guys lol.

got to admit the 2.20 deepy i love but lately there have been at lot more loose calls with any two cards even when you do have aces someone with i,e 2/3 - 2/4 - 4/9  wiill still call and wats annoying they hit bottom pair and no matter what size bet ( even all in ) they`ll call and hit river to win

In Response to Trying to understand the thinking?:
You're looking for logic in low stakes MTTs, it does'nt exist!, and trying to find it, will only lead to frustration. If you can afford it??, you have to move to higher stake MTTs, ( which I think you know ) where there is probably a better,( or maybe more logical? ) standard of play.
    Kind regards

People will tell you it happens at low stakes, play higher but it happens in the WSOP big game and you dont get much higher than that! So all you can do is accept it and be glad they call when the odds are in your favour!
