A High call?

playing 50p/£1 at casino last nite there was a  bloke at the table £2100 down just donking money off. he reloaded for £500 and carried on bulling.
I have AKo raised UTG to £7, he re raised to £17 i flat.

my stack - 160 his 400+

flop 227

he bets £21 i raise to £50 he flats. turn is a 5 both check.

river is a 5 i check he shoves stright away and says call that?

do you call?

    Yes, he'll muck his cards even before you revealed your hand i reckon. If only you had jammed pre eh ?

    i made the call feeling like he was just bulling for him to muck his hand  before i even turned my cards.

    maybe i should have jammed pre?

    i was sure i had the best hand and just put him on air and though he would pass. when he jammed on river just didnt put him on anything and ended up calling.
