Villain in hand previously had 7x'd K Jo after three limpers and then called a shove...
Also opened to 6x with 8s.
Seemed aggro enough to be doing this with sets/2pr/J8/tp+c/air
Does everyone commit to this hand, esp given previous with villain?

I think that this is an all in, you will be vul to be behind to the made flush, and you have the Jc as a possible saver

there is a good chance that he is trying to bully you off looking at the stacks

just make sure you bink the 8c on the river if your behind lol

Holding a made straight with outs to the flush and straight flush and with half your stack already in the pot this is the easiest shove ever. In the unlikely event that you're behind or he improves to a full house on the river then so be it, but there's no way you can fold here against a maniac.

Well I had committed 2300 with 6k behind at 1/200. Just wanted to check whether anyone would consider folding here.

Obviously I shipped it in, but did consider checking back the turn to get a bet from him on the river.

Pretty sick what he had tbh, I did not even have any straight flush outs :(

That makes me feel physically sick tbh - he was so bad.

I saw he 3bet shoved Dan's UTG raise with KQo. I celebrated when Dan hit the river.

why? you should always root for the bad player unless they are playing vs you

I don't want the guy who knocked me out to win the tournament. Bad enough he took a bag.

The money is more likely to be able to filter back into the game than if a player like dantb wins though...

well tell me if you see him at nl50, but i'm gona say he banked whatever he won immediately.

I just can't stand the thought of the person who knocked me out winning 4k, maybe it's just me.

yeah he prob did bank the win

but the feeling of elation/success will reinforce playing poker to him.

he will prob lose the value of said score over the next few weeks/months on tournie entries.  which will filter back into the poker economy.

I doubt he cares/reads the clinic or that his name will ever appear again.

I get where you guys are coming from, I understand we want him to put the money back through sky etc etc

I just can't stand seeing the person who knock's me out of any tournament doing well!
