Ok something which cropped up a few times in my game is complete gut feeling. A feeling to play a hand in a way i normally wouldnt. Even though i know in my head its completely wrong.

Id say on the whole its usually right, however this is a very liable to cost me alot in the future.

What would more experianced players recommend for this?

I think this is fine as long as you can simultaneously rationalise it.
